We were provided with these great pictures from an equally great customer and had to share them! We recently installed this new pressurized mound septic system in Medina. Properties need new septic systems for different reasons. How do I know if I need a new septic system? The existing system for this property was built in 1987 and was classified as non-compliant due to mottled soils. A new system was designed, per current Minnesota Pollution Control Agency codes and local ordinances.

If it goes into your septic system- it is highly encouraged that you reroute your water softener and iron filter recharge water out of the system. Both can cause negative effects on the soil treatment area; potentially reducing the life of your system. Just like a car or appliance; your septic system must be properly operated and maintained to ensure long-term, cost effective service.
