Installing Underground Irrigation Lines and Drainfield Safety

As spring is rapidly approaching the summer season, Kothrade Sewer, Water & Excavating wants all homeowners to be highly aware of installing underground irrigation systems near  their drainfields.

We recently had to do a repair when a homeowner noticed ponding on their drainfield. After having an onsite service call to determine the issue, Glen dug up the supply line to find that another company who had installed the irrigation line had pierced the drainfield supply line. Kothrade SWE easily made the repairs, and the drainfield is once again working correctly.

Please make sure to have drainfield supply lines clearly marked if you are having underground irrigation systems installed. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office so one of our experienced staff can guide you through the process. We are only a phone call away at 763.498.8702!
